Still from the stage. For interior closeups we had a cut-away bubble so the images shot from straight on would not be distorted by the curved plexiglass. We also ran the aircraft without rotor blades while in the studio, the shadow of the stabilizer bar passing over the canopy was enough to give the illusion of the aircraft in flight.
